You dream. You plan. You reach. There will be obstacles. There will be doubters. There will be mistakes. But with hard work, with belief, with confidence and trust in yourself and those around you, there are no limits.

I have great pleasure in presenting to you the Annual Report. Apart from preparing the children to qualify for purely academic demands, post COVID, special efforts are being made continuously to enable them to face the challenges of the competitive world. It’s a matter of great importance to us that the students who pass out from our portals should carry forward the values they have inherited, excel in whatever they do and be role models in the society.

As the process of continuous and overall development, this academic year, our Seniors kabaddi team, boys and girls and football team boys have appeared for CBSE nationwide inter school sports tournaments and have cleared several levels. I wish the teams all the best for their future matches. Thanks to the able coaches

Our GWS cricket team have also played Hyderabad Cricket association (HCA) matches and stood as one of the top 16 teams out of 65 teams.Thanks to the coach Abhista

Academically, 10th graders of 2021-22 have passed their board exams with flying colors with 100% results. We could also secure 40% of all A1 grades. All thanks to our trained and dedicated faculty.

When these students of grades, have come to school this academic year, we could observe a difference of no formal schooling for two years. It was a tough time for parents, teachers and in particular students in terms of getting gelled up.

Our team was in continuous contact with you all to make things easy and better for each and every child. Individual student analysis report was prepared and extended our help wherever it is needed.

As a part of it we have also initiated remedial classes. Worksheet study, Case study, Writing skills in english.

To improve the oratory skills and conversational skills of each and every student, we have introduced Gowtham’s proprietary program called Skill Enhancement program. In this program we develop the child’s way of converse in different real life situations. This program has helped the children to converse confidently in English.

In the month of June, We have started our school radio, trusted talks. Students use our school radio during break time and lunch time, where they sing, they celebrate birthdays and make some short announcements, and express their views on contemporary issues.

During July, we conducted school cabinet elections. Student contestants campaigned their portfolios in the school assembly. Trusted talks played the role of mass media collecting the exit poll as well. A true display of democracy. We installed our school cabinet through an investiture ceremony in the month of August.

From then the school cabinet worked marvelously and witnessed it during the school’s annual sports meet.

We had Dussehra holidays in the month of september and in the month of october we had our term 1 examinations and started our term 2. During November we had our preliminary round of games and sports followed by, Sports day – Drona in the month of December.

January, Our premises were filled with colors of traditionally observed harvest festivals. Facilitators have focussed on academic needs of individual children to improve their scope of learning. After the thorough conceptual learning, children have undergone their term 2 examination in the month of March.

We celebrated Raksha bandhan with rakhi making crafting, Bonalu, Janmashtami, Dushera and Diwali in a very pompous way to induce the culture and heritage.

Exploring and imbibing the knowledge into the real World, students had also been on field trips and educational tours.

To ignite the competitive spirit we have conducted, Art competition. Literary competitions like essay writing, elocution, debate, Mock assembly are planned for the upcoming days.

Our GWScions also have competed with other schools in a cultural event conducted by Hare krishna sumedhasa team and bagged prizes in several categories.

Coming to the examinations, Students had undergone 4 CTs and 2 term examinations. Students could do reasonably well in the exam and timely progress was discussed with parents through

formal PTA meets. PTI (Parent teacher Interactions) are conducted to understand the individual needs of the students and work towards the child’s academic and holistic development.

The school has always been taking initiatives to get the best talent in the sports arena. We have consolidated the sports activities on the weekends where the school has tied up with professional coaches at national level for Football, Skating and Taekwondo and swimming to coach our children. These specially trained coaches are playing or coaching at many national events in the country and are training our students at GWS. The sports program helps us in identifying talent in particular sports and gives more exposure to the students.

All the good work of the school has been possible with the cooperation of our highly qualified and dedicated faculty. To make the teaching better, timely workshops are also conducted for the teachers. Our thanks to the management committee of our school for their able guidance and encouragement. If I were to put all the events at GWS in a Nutshell, we encourage a child to observe, to explore, to experiment ,to probe, to analyze, to confront problems & find the solutions, Finally to develop the skills essential to face the future.
